Age Limit
The candidate must have been born between 01-Mar-2003 and 01-Mar-2007 (including these two dates). Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates must have been born between 01-Mar-2002 and 01-Mar-2007 (including these two dates).
Qualification and Marks Criteria
- Trade-ITI pass out candidates with Fitter Mechanical or Electrician Trade.
- ITI passing marks 60% for general male candidates and 55% for female, transgender and ST/SC candidates.
- Candidates Must Pass Matric with English as a subject.
Physical Fitness
- Height: 152 cm. (for girls 142 cm)
- Weight: 45 Kg. (for girls 40 Kg.)
- Expansion of Chest: 5 cm
- Power of Glasses ± 4.0 maximum
- Eyesight 6/6 in both eyes with glass
- Colour Vision: Normal

Tata Steel Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Stipend, and Training Details
- The candidates on selection will be provided one year apprenticeship training at SNTI.
- Candidates will be registered in Apprenticeship Portal and get a stipend during training period as specified in the Apprentices Act, provided the performance and conduct is found satisfactory. Candidates shall not be contracted with any other organisation. Candidates who have completed apprenticeship training after ITI shall not be considered.
- The Apprentices Training Programme is a compliance requirement as governed by the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 and its latest amendments and hence is not a guarantee for employment.
- ) On successful completion of the training and on being successfully awarded the National Apprenticeship Certificate on clearing the All-India Trade Test (AITT), in case of vacancy, the candidate will be appointed only on rolls of TSTSL (Tata Steel Technical Services Limited) at any location.
